Bethany’s Senior Session

Wow you guys! Bethany’s senior session was one for the books! My job is always SO easy whenever I have upbeat, spunky seniors to work with and Bethany totally rocked her session!

We had originally scheduled the shoot for sunset, but it was heavily overcast the day of our shoot. I asked Bethany and her mom if they were able to shoot any earlier, and thank goodness they could! They both met me at a local farm where we did her portraits and they both came SO prepared! (This is the result when you read the style guide people! haha!) They had multiple outfit choices to choose from, along with hair and makeup touch ups and Bethany’s signature pink bucket hat!

Bethany had mentioned to me that her bucket hat matched her spunky personality and that she wanted some pictures with it. Let me tell you, those are easily my favorites pictures from the entire session! Every other photo was totally drop dead gorgeous, but when seniors bring props and add in elements to their shoots that really show off who they are, it makes it 10x better!

I love that we incorporated so many natural and candid poses into this shoot, and that we were able to make a dark gloomy day look bright and summery!

Bethany thank you so much for trusting me to capture your senior portraits! Have a great last year of high school!

  1. Morgan,
Thank you so much for making Bethany’s photo session so much fun and fo capturing her personality! We love so many of the photos and they are all beautiful. And I agree the Bucket Hat really brought out her fun personality! You were willing to take her suggestions and run with them, as well as providing all your wonderful ideas and photo composition. It was such a fun afternoon, and even better without the full sun!
