THESE TWO OMG! You guys, Rachel and Justin were a DREAM to photograph! I am so happy the weather cooperated and we were able to get these gorgeous shots for their engagement session on Saturday!

It’s no secret the weather has been less than ideal lately, and it feels like we’ve had two days of sun in July which is very abnormal. We had a slight chance of precipitation for this shoot, and I was watching the radar like a hawk. I told Rachel we can go for it, and thank goodness the weather cooperated because these pictures are just stunning. (It actually down poured 20 minutes after we were done!) I think this shoot is the perfect example that overcast days can still be beautiful for pictures! Everyone knows I’m a sucker for glowy sunset light, but the colors you get with overcast skies are actually better than days with full sun!

Rachel and Justin were the sweetest couple! They brought their puppy Milo and oh my word! Cutest dog EVER! These two met on Hinge and he popped the question after a year of dating in front of the Hogwarts castle at Universal! (How awesome is that!) Rachel actually found me through one of my past brides, and as we were talking she mentioned they lived on the same floor their freshman year! She also is my neighbor’s niece! What a small world! I am so excited that I get to be a part of their big day! Every time I meet up with couples like this I get reminded of how lucky I am to call this my job! I definitely starting squealing 5 minutes into the shoot, but I couldn’t help it because these two made it so easy for me!
