Top 5 Favorite Photo Locations

September 27, 2021

Post Date:

There are SO many locations in New Hampshire for engagement sessions that I absolutely adore! I’ve photographed lots of couples over the years in so many different locations.

Some couples have some ideas of where they would like to go and others don’t… and that is completely okay!

I help all my couples with location scouting, outfits, prep, and so much more! After a couple books with me, I always ask them what style location they’re looking for and then we go from there! Yes, my list is long but for now, here’s 5 of my all time favorite locations to ensure your pictures are unique with tons of variety!

  1. Applecrest Farm Orchards

Located right in Hampton Falls NH, this location is massive! With tons of apple trees, trails, stone walls and so much more! I constantly find myself going back to this location because it’s very private and gives off a rustic feel that would make any session here spectacular! Not to mention the light that comes through the trees at sunset is every photographer’s DREAM!

Pro Tip: If you book your session in the spring, you get BEAUTIFUL blossoms on all the trees that truly looks like you’re in heaven!

  1. Prescott Park

Prescott Park in Portsmouth NH is so pretty in the summer time with plays and festivals going on all the time! Off to the side, there’s a tiny garden with a bunch of flowers, trees, and fountains! This park is seriously breathtaking and who doesn’t love running around downtown Portsmouth for an hour or two?

  1. Odiorne Point State Park

Right in Rye NH, this place is such a nice place to go to for a walk, an event, or for a family picnic. This location is not only right next to the ocean, but it has pretty trails that weave into different parts of the beach, and so much more. If you want a LOT of variety this is such a good place to go! It’s very private and never crowded. Also, I know a specific trail that leads you to a small beach where you can see sailboats in the back! Does it get any better than that?!

  1. Wagon Hill Farm

10-15 minutes past Portsmouth is Wagon Hill Farm in Durham NH. This place has a lot of greenery and BIG open fields. We can get wide epic shots and close up glowy portraits as well. Not to mention, at sunset, there’s one specific tree where the light shines through it in the most gorgeous way! I could take ALL of your portraits at that one tree!

  1. Seabrook Beach

Last but not least is Seabrook Beach! You guys, I could shoot at the beach all day everyday and never get tired of it! You can get SO much variety here and I could go on and on about how beautiful the light is. When there’s nothing but sand and water behind you, it makes for the dreamiest portraits ever. There really is nothing like a sunset at the beach! You can’t go wrong with this location!
