Katy and Tim | Engaged

October 13, 2021

Post Date:

This shoot was so special and fun! Katy reached out to me at the beginning of September about photographing her and Tim’s wedding and we immediately clicked! We started emailing back and forth about the details of her day and it honestly felt like I was emailing one of my friends. We have such similar personalities and both of us are twins! Seriously two peas in a pod!

Katy and Tim are something special! They were friends before they started dating and their proposal story is so adorable! Tim has family in Martha’s Vineyard, and his uncle actually owns the ferry that runs between the vineyard and another small island. Katy and Tim were visiting family out there when his uncle wanted to take both of them out for a sunset cruise. When the sun was setting, his uncle said he wanted to take a picture of them with the sunset behind them. When they got in position to take a picture, Tim got down on one knee and proposed! It seriously sounds like it was straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie!

I honestly cannot wait to see these two tie the knot next year! If their wedding is anything like their engagement session, I know it is going to be picture perfect! I just love the fall feel that we got from these pictures! Get excited for their wedding in 2022!!!

Thanks for Reading!
