This month has been a crazy one… but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Especially when I get to work with couples like Taylor and Geoff at a venue as gorgeous as this one!

I traveled to the Barn on Gobeille Farm in Sharon Vermont for Taylor and Geoffs day and WOW!

The second I pulled into the venue, I immediately saw a million different perfect locations we could use to take photos. I knew right then and there this day was going to be one for the books!

Before starting details, I walked into the house to say hi to Taylor and all her girls. My former bride Kaitlyn was in the bridal party, and it was so nice to see this family again and catch up. (Seriously one of the biggest, sweetest, and cutest families I have ever met! I felt like a part of the fam the entire day!)

This property honestly made my heart so happy. From the barn the reception was held in, to the cutest little farm house the girls were getting ready in… I felt so at peace here. My second shooter Melissa and I couldn’t stop commenting about how beautiful, quaint, and calming the venue was. It seriously felt like we were in a storybook.

I couldn’t be happier for these two. Geoff made my entire day by coming up to me and telling me how easy the entire process was for him. He began to tell me that any other time he had to have his photo taken, he would dread it. But he said that he had so much fun at the engagement session and an ever better time taking his wedding photos. 

This is why I do what I do. Creating beautiful keepsakes for your entire family to have, all while making it easy and fun. 

What a picture perfect day. Celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Ballou made me fall in love with weddings over and over again. It never gets old!
