From the moment I arrived at Heather and Charlie’s wedding day, I could feel the warmth and love that surrounded these two, making it an unforgettable day despite the weather.

Even though the skies opened up with rain, Heather and Charlie didn’t let it dampen their spirits for a second. They were truly the sunshine, bringing so much light and joy to every moment. It was as if the weather didn’t even matter because they radiated happiness. My heart was so full watching these two celebrate their love—genuine, pure, and overflowing. UGH! It was just too cute!

One of the most special touches was Heather wearing her mom’s veil, adding a beautiful layer of meaning to the day. It was like a piece of family history woven into her bridal look, which already had everyone in awe. Heather was an absolute vision, from the veil to her stunning dress, and those drop dead gorgeous Jimmy Choo’s—she truly embodied bridal beauty.

The day wasn’t without its challenges, but Heather and Charlie’s incredible support system stepped in just when we needed it. When the rain came down, Heather’s dad’s friends totally saved the day by offering their gorgeous screened-in porch for photos. Talk about a game-changer! We were able to capture some intimate moments there, shielded from the rain, yet still embracing the cozy, romantic and costal vibes.

Now, let’s talk about cocktail hour—a mac and cheese bar! I’m not sure anything could have topped that, but it perfectly matched the fun and relaxed energy that filled the day. The reception was just as lively as you’d expect, with the dance floor packed all night long. Heather and Charlie’s friends and family truly brought the party, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

What a perfect blend of love, family, and joy this weekend. Even with the rain, it was an absolute dream come true. Their wedding day on the Cape is one I’ll never forget, and I feel so honored to have been part of it!
