If I could bottle up a wedding day and relive it over and over again, this would be the one. Katherine and Sean’s wedding on Lake Winnipesaukee was the definition of perfect—like, the kind of day you dream about and then pray to the weather gods for. And spoiler alert: the weather gods delivered.
After a week of sticky, sweaty, downright rude heat, their big day showed up with a high of 77°, and a light breeze off the lake. I’m not saying Katherine and Sean made a deal with the universe… but I am saying her maid of honor was right when she said, “You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.”
From start to finish, their wedding was as smooth and joyful as they come. We were ahead of schedule all day…Their bridal party brought the energy (and the dance moves), their ceremony was heartfelt and sweet, and the dance floor? Absolute fire.
Another highlight of the day? Getting to see one of my past Morgan Hope couples—Liz and Nik! It was such a sweet full-circle moment and honestly made my heart so happy to catch up with them.
But above all, I just feel so lucky to have been a part of this day. Katherine and Sean are two of the kindest, most genuine people, and being welcomed into their circle of family and friends was such a gift. The entire vibe of the day was relaxed, joyful, and full of love—which honestly made my job feel less like work and more like just hanging out with really great people (with a camera in hand, of course).
Katherine and Sean, thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me capture this chapter for you. I can’t wait to see where married life takes you—and I really hope our paths cross again soon.
