Who says Thursday weddings can’t bring the heat? Alex and Amanda’s wedding day at Oceanview of Nahant was 87°, super sunny, and absolutely stunning in every way. From the first look to the final dance under the stars, the day was filled with vibrant color, emotional moments, and allll the beachy magic you could dream of.
Let’s start with the florals. I genuinely could not stop photographing them. Amanda’s floral vision was next level—every bouquet, arrangement, and detail was bursting with bold, vivid colors that somehow all worked together flawlessly. There were all different types of flowers, and every single one was a showstopper. I flagged so many floral shots for this blog post that I basically had to stage an intervention with myself just to get it down to a reasonable number.
And don’t even get me started on Amanda’s dress—easily one of the most unique and stunning gowns I’ve ever photographed. It had the prettiest blush undertone, covered in the most delicate beading, sequins, and jewels. It fit her like it was made just for her (because it was!), and it caught the light so beautifully all day long. Paired with her hair and makeup—which I think I commented on at least twenty times throughout the day—it was bridal perfection.
Their ceremony overlooked the ocean with that perfect golden-hour glow, and their vows had everyone tearing up. The speeches? So heartfelt. You could just feel how loved these two are by their people. And when it was time to party, Alex and Amanda delivered. The dance floor was non-stop—packed with great music, hilarious moments, and so much joy. We ended the night with a private last dance by the water, which felt like something straight out of a movie.
It’s no surprise their wedding was a dream from start to finish—I had a feeling it would be after their engagement session, where they literally jumped into the water and splashed around without a care in the world. That same carefree, joyful energy showed up in the best way on their wedding day, and it was such an honor to capture it all.
Oh—and can we talk about the dream team of vendors? Everyone worked together like magic, and it made the day flow so seamlessly. Truly one of those weddings where everything just clicked.
Alex and Amanda, thank you for being the beautiful, fun, easygoing humans that you are. I’m so lucky to have been part of this chapter with you, and narrowing down this blog post was a serious challenge (because I basically wanted to share your entire gallery).
I hope you love reliving the day through these favorites!
