Can I just take a moment to say how much I freaking love these two?!! Seriously, Michalia and Dan have been such a DREAM to work with and I am so excited to be sharing some gorgeous photos from their intimate elopement!

They got married at a log cabin that Dan’s family has been renting for years. This house holds so many special memories for them, so when Michalia and Dan made the decision to elope… It was only natural they got married at that house.

When I first got there, everyone made me feel SO welcome! Dan’s mom offered to make me breakfast and made me coffee too! It was so thoughtful and I immediately felt like I was a part of the family. It really meant a lot to me!

The entire day was very laid back and relaxed. You could tell these two were just excited to finally be husband and wife. They had a small ceremony, and after that, we rolled into portraits! Michalia and Dan are probably the coolest couple ever because they let me take photos of them for an HOUR in the freezing cold! And even though they were probably frozen, it was SO worth it because they have so much variety! 

*We also got an EPIC night-time portrait at the end of the day!*

Michalia and I have bonded in a really special way throughout this process because we both unfortunately lost our fathers. I totally understood every emotion she was feeling throughout the day and I really loved being there for her! When it started snowing for her pictures, she turned to me and said “This is totally my father, and I know you understand.”

I ALMOST LOST IT GUYS. 

It was the perfect way to end the day and I was so honored to be able to celebrate with them.
