I honestly have NO WORDS

I have officially died and gone to heaven with this wedding.

Lydia and Nick’s day was nothing short of a fairytale. In fact, it honestly was an actual fairytale!

The stunning backyard venue, the intricate details, and most importantly, the undeniable love between the couple made my job as a photographer not only insanely easy… but incredibly enjoyable!

I mentioned in their engagement session blog post, that Lydia and Nick have been together since 4th grade. You never EVER hear of something like that anymore, so this one was special special.

This day that has been 16 years in the making… FREAKING 16 YEARS! No wonder these two wrote “finally” on their save the dates! 

This meant the energy throughout the day was electric, and it was an honor to capture this extraordinary love story.

When Lydia and I were finalizing details a couple months prior, she said the theme and aesthetic of the day was “backyard fairytale” and BOY did they deliver!

The backyard venue proved to be a stroke of genius! We had a small backyard with flowers everywhere, and a path in the woods that led to a HUGE open field. The setting truly resembled something out of a storybook. 

They also put together a gorgeous whimsical arch adorned with flowers, twinkling lights and lanterns strewn across the reception tent, and charmingly decorated tables. Every single corner of the wedding exuded an enchanting ambiance. It was as if the couple had transported their guests into a world where dreams come true. No wonder I was in HEAVEN photographing it the whole day!

One of the most heartwarming and unique aspects of Lydia and Nick’s wedding was the role their 4th-grade teacher played. With a beautiful testament to their enduring love, the teacher who witnessed their relationship blossom over the years had the honor of officiating their ceremony. It was the BEST reminder of the longevity of their connection, and was just the icing on the cake for their day. This detail, in my opinion, was the sweetest one yet! 

As a photographer, I’ve been fortunate to witness and document many love stories (best job ever!), but Lydia and Nick’s wedding was truly a dream to be a part of. Every detail had been meticulously planned, from the elegant floral arrangements to the personalized touches that reflected their unique personalities. Everything about the entire day matched PERFECTLY! Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made my job not only easier, but also immensely enjoyable. 

Lydia and Nick are not only a drop-dead gorgeous couple, but also so genuinely sweet and down-to-earth. Each photograph captured the essence of their love, from the belly laughs during their portraits, and the beautiful and tear-jerking moments during their ceremony.

This backyard fairytale wedding was an extraordinary celebration of love, friendship, and commitment. Their enduring bond, which began in 4th grade, culminated in a day that will forever be etched in their hearts and the memories of all who attended. It was an honor to capture their love story, and being able to witness their genuine, down-to-earth nature made the experience even more special. 

This day was seriously a dream, and I could not be any more excited to share all the highlights from the day!
