When I say I was speechless at this session I mean I literally had no words. 

I looked at the back of my camera while we were shooting, and I actually couldn’t piece my words together because I was shocked at how perfect every single image was.

We originally were supposed to have Mia and Greg’s engagement session a week prior, but the day we originally scheduled it for ended up being really really cold and super windy. I was texting Mia about the weather and I knew that if it was super windy inland… Down by the beach would’ve been even worse. So we ended up rescheduling, and I am so unbelievably thankful we did! Because not only did we get beautiful light throughout the entire session, but it was warm with minimal wind. I call that a win.

One of the reasons I’m obsessed with this location is because we had the beach to ourselves the entire time. (Talk about a dream come true.) This specific beach is private, so when we arrived, there was only two people there. By the time we were ready to start shooting, it was just the three of us.

I tell all my couples that the first 20 minutes are going to feel a little awkward. It’s not every day that you get your pictures professionally taken. But when I say Mia and Greg kicked ass within the first five minutes… I wasn’t exaggerating. I was actually super super impressed with how natural they were, and you can see that in all of their images. Both of them are just super joyful and they were laughing the entire time. 

Mia and Greg are honestly such a joy to be around. We ended up chatting for a good 20 minutes before we started shooting and I loved this because it allowed me to get to know them even more personally. We even figured out that we have some mutual friends! Both of their energies matched mine perfectly, and you can tell these two are just so flipping excited to be starting this chapter of their lives together.

These images exceeded my expectations and I honestly can’t say enough great things about this couple. We had way too much fun laughing and joking around together, and they both were so super laid-back and really adventurous. One thing that I really appreciated about Mia and Greg was when I would give them a posing suggestion… They never even thought twice about it and put their full trust in me. 

To say I’m excited for this wedding now is an understatement because if their wedding is anything like this session… it’s honestly going to be ridiculously beautiful.
