The fact that we had perfect weather, and this ENTIRE location to ourselves was such a dream! No wind, glowy light, and beautiful foregrounds that made me squeal.

This state park is one of my favorite locations to shoot at because of the variety you can get here! You can look like you’re in the middle of a field for one photo… Take two steps to the right and then have the ocean behind you. Not to mention, it’s literally massive and stretches on for miles. It seemed like we reserved this spot for the night because there was literally nobody there which was shocking considering how beautiful it was out! We kept talking about the weather the entire time because the three of us couldn’t believe how much we lucked out. It wasn’t too hot or too cold, and there was no wind at all. Having no wind for a session by the seacoast is equivalent to winning the lottery. 

Ashley and Jonathan met me around an hour before sunset, and I couldn’t believe how beautiful their photos turned out from the very start. We had absolutely everything from soft glowy light, to epic views. It made my photographer heart leap for joy! 

These two lovebirds met in MIDDLE SCHOOL and have been together for around 10 years! Ashley had told me he would ask her out almost every day in middle school, and they made it official the summer going into their freshman year. I mean come on how cute is that! Nowadays it seems like finding your soulmate in middle school is fewer and far between, so getting to document this relationship 10 years in the making was extra special!
